Mrs K Charles was a dynamic educationist who had a vast experience in the field of education and administration and wanted the students to explore, experience, experiment to achieve an all round development for themselves. She was of the opinion that students should be provided with a stimulating environment where love, affection and joy brings out the best in them.

We still remember her fondly and make every effort to follow her teachings. After retiring from the military services as an officer in the year 1946, Mrs. Kathrine Mary Charles chose teaching as a profession and joined the Convent of Jesus and Mary, Ambala Cantt. where she taught for 25 years. She was admired by one and all for her fine qualities as a person and as a teacher.

After retiring from CJM, she did not want to waste her talent in teaching, so she opened a school by the name of Mrs. K. Charles’ Nursery School, which was renamed St. Paul’s High School in the year 1983. She devoted her heart and soul to this institution.

Our Founder’s Day is celebrated on 11th November every year.
